1 medium tomato, finely chopped 1 1/2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped 2 Serrano chilies, finely chopped 2 tablespoons cilantro, finely chopped 3 large ripe avocados Salt to taste
In a bowl mix together tomatoes, onions, chilies, and cilantro. Cut avocados in half lengthwise, remove the pits and scoop out flesh. Cut into small pieces and add to the tomato mixture. Mash roughly with a fork. Season with salt to keep it from turning brown, place 1 or 2 avocado pits in the center of the guacamole. Serve immediately with hot tortillas or chips. Makes 2 1/2 cups
